As a Software Engineer at Filipino Trusted Care Center, I manage and enhance the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system for the Yakap Program under PhilHealth, ensuring secure, efficient handling of patient data, streamlining clinical workflows, and supporting healthcare providers through reliable, scalable system solutions.
As a Software Engineer Lead for a Web3 Messaging Application, Lead Developer for an E-commerce Application, and contributor to platforms such as GForce (a dance class management system) and SureOne.ph (an online insurance platform), I utilized TypeScript, Node.js, JavaScript, Post-Quantum Cryptography, Next.js, Google Cloud Platform, Docker, Prisma, and Shopify to deliver secure, scalable solutions, driving the development of these systems from architecture to implementation.
As the Team Lead for the backend systems of an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), Microfinance Project, and Grid Property Ventures, I successfully led the development of two internal client applications using TypeScript, JavaScript, Express, and MongoDB. Additionally, I served as the Lead Senior Backend Developer Instructor for the UNLAD Internship program, mentoring and guiding interns to enhance their backend development skills.
I am proud to be associated with the esteemed Unlad Foundation, where I serve as a Software Engineer Scholar. Within this role, I am dedicated to leveraging my expertise in backend development to contribute to the Foundation's mission and objectives.
I pursued the knowledge that a information technology diploma had to offer. I learned about computer hardware, data structures and algorithm, an array of programming, and aspects of internet of things.
I wrote my first line of real code that started this journey into digital craftsmanship that I never could've imagined, especially as someone who never saw themselves as anything other than a blue collar worker.
